This pathway is for the unfortunate minority of Attendings who have failed the Qualifying Exam. The most important thing to remember is that you are NOT alone. Second is to undertand that you can and will pass the Qualifying Exam. You may not believe it, but failing the Qualifying Exam is unlikely to have any negative impact on your career, so get after it, and become Board Certified.
